Volunteering

BE PART OF SOMETHING SPECIAL

Do you love to rip down the mountain on a pair of skis or a snowboard?

Do you enjoy keeping fit on the cross country trails?

Do you love the Summer sporting and recreational activities in the Rockies,

Do you fancy giving something back to the sports you love?

If so, then read on as this could be the opportunity that you have been waiting for…

RMASC and its partner organizations have been working hard to put measures in place to provide as many individuals with different abilities with the opportunities to come and enjoy sport and recreation in the Bow Valley.

To be able to provide these opportunities and help make the dreams possible, RMASC requires fantastic individuals to volunteer. RMASC Volunteers assist inspirational individuals around the slopes of Sunshine Village, across Nordic Centre trails, on hiking trips, down mountain rivers, and many other adventure.  Full training is given to all volunteers and all we require from you is your enthusiasm, a confidence in your ability of your favorite mountain activity, and of course some of your time during the Winter and/or Summer season.

If you or anyone you know would like to find out more about volunteering in this extremely rewarding area, please feel free to contact us at info@rmasc.ca or by phone on 001 403 431 1154.

Please note: if you are not confident in your own abilities but would still like to be involved then contact us anyway, as we have plenty of other volunteer opportunities for you.

Testimonials

‘Being involved in adaptive sports has enabled me to enjoy a sport along with my family and friends, to the point where some of them can’t keep up with me.  Through my involvement in adaptive sports I have met some amazing people, participants, volunteers and instructors, who have been inspirational and supportive, and have become great friends.’
