Jamie McCulloch

Born in the UK, Jamie now resides in Canmore, Alberta.  Jamie was first exposed to adaptive sport and recreation when teaching his sister how to ski. Following this, he worked as a ski instructor in Andorra and spent his summers working as a care worker for adults with intellectual and physical impairments.  From that moment on he knew the direction his future was to take.

The winter season of 2001/02 saw Jamie come to Canada, where he has spent his time working for Sunshine Village as a ski instructor whilst developing and running the Sunshine Adaptive Ski and Ride Program.  For 6 years he lived a continuous Winter spending the Summer months furthering his adaptive experience working for Disabled Snowsports, New Zealand. Here, he meet many inspirational people working as an adaptive trainer, instructor, and coach.

His enthusiasm, passion and experience for adaptive sport and recreation lead him to the position of General Manager for RMASC, where he continues today, developing the organization, promoting adaptive sport and recreation and working hands on with individuals with amazing abilities.

Ian Hipkins

Ian has been involved in the corporate and incentive travel industry for the past 23 years. Based in Canmore, he is currently part owner and General Manager of Luxury Motor Coach Charters, a company that hosts a variety of international dignitaries as well as many of Calgary’s corporate leaders.  He is a founding director of Rocky Mountain Adaptive Sports Centre and has first hand experience with the inspirations and challenges surrounding children with impairments.  Ian is also a past back-country guide, both winter and summer as well as a level 4 Nordic Ski Instructor.  He is an outdoor sports enthusiast who believes everyone, regardless of their physical or intellectual capabilities should have full opportunity to participate.

Eric McFadden

Mr. McFadden is currently Executive Vice President, Business Development at Superior Plus Corp. who he joined in 2008.  Prior to this position, he was CEO of a wind power company and also spent 14 years with a major Canadian bank in investment banking.  Mr. McFadden resides in Canmore, Alberta.

Matthew Hamer

Matthew lives in Canmore, Alberta and works in the oil and gas industry.  His professional career spans over 30 years in consulting engineering.  He is presently working in business development for a leading international engineering company in their Canadian regional headquarters in Calgary, Alberta.  Matthew became involved with adaptive sports as a volunteer for the Sunshine Village/RMASC Ski program for individuals with different abilities.

It also helps in volunteer training and updating/maintain our specialized adaptive equipment.
